James Toney and Kid Gloves

So i've been called out by kinney to have a input with James Lights Out Toney signing amultifight deal with the ufc. Ok mma fans here's my take, do I like this idea of a former heavyweight titilist entering the realm of mixed martial arts? yes i think this would be a great marketing standpoint for both parties and eventhough the UFC doesn't need to brand themselves because there are doing quite well on their own it would also put a new twist in the heavier divisions. Do i think he should get a crack at the elite's right away? I dont think it's a good idea. There are potential matchups that I would like to see James Toney fight and kinney did mentioned kimbo. I couldn't agree more on this matchup and Joe Silva probably already have this all lined up before Ufc announce the multifight deal with Mr. Toney. This would be just a stand brawl, both posesses great strength and power however both also have limited ground game experience as Kimbo is still finding his way not to be caught in a crucifix and working to fix that with ATT and James Toney well i don't think he has ever been kicked in the leg nor be working on defensive techniques on the ground to isolate himself from a submission. So consider this matchup a straightout boxing match and also a match that could potentially be a short lived one. One punch from both of these guys could be lights out and not to take anything away from James Toney but I mean Kimbo has some knock out power we all witness his prowless when he was a youtube phenomenom beating up guys that think they can knock out this streetbrawler. Another factor I have with James Toney is that he is 41, his age is a factor and I just don't see him having the same physique or endurance and heart like Randy Couture. However I could be wrong. Boxers I think are one of the most highly fit and gifted athletes that uses all there body mechanism to withstand getting hit in the body, arms and head having said that also stand the gruelling 7-13 rounds depending on if its a title fight or not. MMA there is only 3 5 minute rounds for non title fights and 5 for championship bouts. What I can possibly say for James Toney is that hopefully he can find a good camp that can work with his ground game and also a great endurance coach, and I hope still posses the same power with his punches that knocked out so many of the best heavyweight boxers in the world. Imagine getting punched by James Toney with kid gloves...LIGHTS OUT... potential future bouts I can see happening for Toney
