Chris Bosh goes down for 7 games with an ankle injury and stomach flu, and the descent begins. Over the last 2 months this team has got it done, down the stretch in games they've got it done and a couple weeks ago, talks of over taking Boston/Atlanta for the 4 spot were really not that much outta the question. Bosh's value during this losing streak is really very, very evident. Without him in the lineup they lose, they actually don't even have a chance. Last night they got smoked by the Kings. The f'n KINGS!!! Seriously, he's still trying to get his stride back, that will take a few more games but, what about the rest of those guys on this squad?
I have said this a million times, Andrea aint as good as advertised. He puts up numbers and that's it. This stretch of games while Chris was out, was a really good opportunity for him to step up and force the issue. He's a decent complimentary piece and that's about it. Hedo.......forget about it. But this is what really erks me, and this is truly a testament to how good Chris really is. He elevates his team mates play, gets W's, gets numbers and is the hands down man in the T Dot right now, from a sports perspective. He's at that point now, he's that damn good. I mean I've been one of Chris's harshest critics in the past and not only has this guy changed my opinion completely, but I've come to really respect this guys game.
Losing streaks like this do not translate well in a contract year. The Raptors really need to get back to 3 weeks ago and start remembering how to win, how to play and how to get it done....
Otherwise its right to the lottery for us, just like that son! I haven't ranted about the Raptors in a minute, so I think this was a solid time to get something off my chest.
