Go Jays Go!!

So the Leafs royally sucked monkey balls, the Raptors are on the fringe right now, holding onto their playoff hopes with their little claws BUT here come those Jays. Who!? The Blue Jays kid.....

I write this as I wait for Diane (see NFL thoughts post) at Jack Astors on Front Street, walking distance from the Skydome. This place is rammed right now, like seriously rammed and everyone is 'Jay-D' out right now in anticipation for the big home opener today. Apparently like 20 olympians are gonna throw out the first pitch today lol, 20. Damn. The Jays have started this season pretty hot, out of the gates at a 5-1 record, with Vernon Wells leading the way. I believe as of now he's homered 4 times in 6 games. Pretty impressive stuff thus far, and by judging the atmosphere at Jack's, its gonna be electric at the dome tonight. People are already chanting ish, and all the screens are playing Baseball or pre game coverage. Awesome.

But then again last season the Jays killed it in the first 20 games or so of the season and then it went down hill from there, let's hope history doesn't repeat itself. I wish I was going to this game tonight cause there's dudes around me who are at least 4 pints in at its only 5pm, jokes lol!!!

Let's see how they fair at home today, and let's go Jays!!!
